I was admitted to practice law in 2003. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University in Chicago during which time, I studied abroad at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Mérida, Mexico.
I received my law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where I also served as President of the law school’s Latino/a Law Student Association.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish and as the daughter and granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, I enjoy helping individuals and families who have stories, struggles, and dreams similar to my own family members. I live in my hometown of Elgin, Illinois with my husband and three sons.
